Academic Results

At ISR we are proud of our students’ excellent academic results in the national and international standardized tests that we apply during the school year.
These tests allow us to measure the individual performance of our students and compare it to national and international standard results. Testing comparisons also inform our continuous improvement process.

National Standardized Test

ENLACE is the standardized evaluation of the National Educational System, applied to students in Grades 1-9 in public and private schools in México. This test is in Spanish and measures learning in math, Spanish, and a third subject that changes every year.

International Standardized Tests

MAP (Measures of Academic Progress)
presents content to students according to their age and grade level. As the student answers a question, the test adjusts the level of difficulty in response to the student’s answer. MAP measures learning in math, reading, and language use. The test is conducted at the beginning and end of each school year to measure the progress of students in Grades 1-9.

WrAP (The Writing Assessment Program), an assessment tool developed by ERB in close collaboration with its member schools and Measurement, Inc., stands apart from nearly all other writing assessment. The WrAP is scored analytically using a six-trait, six-point rubric, which provides information that can help target instruction in writing. Students in Grades 7-8 are tested.

High Schools' Admission

PPA (Academic Skills Test), a College Board test, is the Latin-American version of the SAT.  ITESM and UDEM high schools apply it to rising 9th grade students to determine their admittance.

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) from the Educational Testing Service’s test is the most famous and widely used standardized English test in the world. Over 7,000 institutions in 130 countries apply it, including the best universities in the world.
