Library
Our libraries offer students and teachers a collection of over 41,000 volumes on each campus, ranging from instructional to cultural materials. Our librarians offer classes for students and teachers on how to collect information, use technology, and interact with text.

Our collection is divided in eight areas:
Reference
Fiction
Nonfiction
Spanish
Graphic Novels (comics)
Biographies
Magazines
Professional Development (teacher’s area)

During Library class, teachers promote diverse literary genres and information research in books and digital media. Designated areas allow students to work individually or in study groups. Light reading dramatically increases reading abilities, reinforces and expands vocabulary, and promotes reading habits. We support this through our graphic novel and magazine areas, where we have over 20 wide-ranging subscriptions.

Our digital library may be accessed on any computer with Internet access, and is an important research tool for our Elementary and Middle School students.

Once a month parents and children are welcome to join us for Family Reading Night, where they enjoy sharing a book or listening to our featured storytellers. Twice a year we host the Book Fair, during which publishing houses offer both English and Spanish books and materials for sale.

San Roberto Choice Awards
Welcome to the San Roberto’s Choice Awards 2012. This is the first time we do this award’s ceremony and we are glad to say that it’s during ISR’s 30rth Anniversary celebrations. What a better way to celebrate than with this brand new San Roberto’s Choice Awards.
You might be wondering, what are those awards? Who is giving them away and who chose the nominees? Well, Categories were determined by the library areas. Each category has its own sub categories according to the nature of its stories. Nominees are chosen by the circulation of books according to our library system Destiny. Nominees will be awarded a silver nominee sticker with the year of its nomination. Awards are given to the most voted nominee. Once voting closes, the winners will be awarded with a golden sticker with the year of its nomination and victory.  Voting starts February 20 at 3:00 pm and closes on February 17 at 11:59 pm.  Don’t forget to go to our schools portal click on the San Roberto’s Choice Awards 2012 link and start voting!
