Do you want your son or daughter to speak English better and get ready to attend a U.S. college or university? Do you want your child to make American friends and learn about life in the United States? Then the Meritas Elite Boarding Program might be the right choice.

Meritas schools provide a college-preparatory education. International students learn to speak, understand, read, and write English. They also study mathematics, science, social studies, the arts, and athletics.

The Meritas Academic Plan teaches students to think critically and solve complex problems. These skills prepare students for college and careers. Each Meritas student receives an individual learning plan, so he or she can learn as quickly as possible. Students who are proficient in English study ahead of grade level in some subjects.

Every Meritas graduate attends college. They enroll in the best colleges and universities in the United States and around the world. These include Harvard, Yale, and MIT, as well as more than 200 other schools. College counselors help students choose colleges to apply to and help with the applications.

International students make American friends and visit American homes. They study with American students in many subjects. Elite Boarding Program students often leave campus for social activities. Twice a year they take trips to places such as New York City and Europe.

Every Meritas campus is safe and secure. Teachers take a personal interest in all students and help them adjust to life at an American school. Our international students come from more than 25 countries.

Meritas welcomes applications from international students who have basic English language skills. They must also have strong academic skills in other subjects in their home language.
